South County Fire is now offering an on-demand online Car Seat Awareness Course. Sign-up for this free course to take at your convenience and receive a certificate of attendance immediately upon completion of the course and quiz. The course should take one hour or less to complete.  Start learning about car seats today!

Who should attend?  Anyone who wants to learn how to safely transport children including parents, grandparents, nannies, transporters for hire, and other caregivers transporting children.

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR CHILD TRANSPORTERS FOR HIRE

• This class meets state certification requirements.
• Each attendee must register as an individual (no group registrations).
• You must be able to view the presentation online so you can see the content.
• You MUST attend the entire hour and PASS A QUIZ to receive credit. 

Child car seat checks are offered by appointment only.

NOTE: We cannot accommodate drop-in car seat checks at any of our stations.
