To identify the closest fire station to your property, see our Stations list or Fire Station Map.

The Washington Survey and Rating Bureau (WSRB) sets the district's fire protection classification. Most insurance companies use this classification to set fire insurance premiums rates for property owners.

The WSRB evaluates fire protection capabilities of all Washington communities and rates them on a scale of 1 to 10. In 2015, Fire District 1’s rating upgraded from a Class 4 to Class 3. This places Fire District 1 in the top 6.2 percent for the state. No department in the state has a Class 1 rating and just four have a Class 2 rating.

WSRB recommends property owners contact their insurance agents if you have questions about your premiums.
